In winter months, with adequate snow cover, we can dash you through the
snow! Our antique lap robes will keep you cozy as you relax to the
sound of sleigh bells jingling. Our 2 passenger antique surrey sleigh,
drawn by a single horse is perfect for couples, while our larger sleigh
drawn by two horses will accommodate up to 10 if all adults, a few more
if children.
Your horse drawn sleigh ride throughout our 20 acre farm begins at
our stable yard. Glide over the fields and through the woods, from
there the horses know the way to carry the sleigh, back to the barn
where a steaming cup of hot mulled cider awaits you!
Sleighride Is Approx 35 Minutes In Length Followed by
Hot Cider in Our Party Room
$125 for the Surrey Sleigh (two passengers)
$250 For the Larger Sleigh (up to Ten Persons)
Infants Free
Weekday and evening bookings may be priced higher.
Group Sleighride Package - $300 per hour - 2hr Minimum
Includes our large sleigh operating continuously, steaming hot cider,
use of the Waiting Room and a Bon-fire if weather permits.
No limit on group size.
Note: Late evening bookings may be priced higher.

We will be booking sleigh rides on the following dates:
- Sundays - Jan 8 through Feb 26, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Sunday Jan 1 - 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Monday Jan. 2 - (New Years Day), 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
- Monday Jan. 16 - (M. L. King Day) 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
- Monday Feb. 20 - (Presidents Day) 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
- Tuesday Feb 14 - (Valentine's Day) - 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Full Moon Evening Sleighrides are offered on the following evenings between 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm;
- Saturday Jan. 7
- Sunday Jan. 8
- Monday Jan. 9 (full moon)
- Saturday Feb. 4
- Sunday Feb. 5
- Tuesday Feb. 7 (full moon)
Our heated waiting room overlooks the fields and woods of our 20+ acre farm. This bright room offers the comfort and convenience of the indoors while being able to watch the outdoor activities. The perfect place to relax and refresh after your outing.
In the event conditions are not suitable for sleighing on the day of your reserved sleigh ride Loon Meadow Farm will substitute a carriage ride of the same length. In order to do a sleigh ride we need frozen ground, a sizable snowfall and sub-freezing temperatures. If conditions are not suitable for either a sleigh or carriage ride we would cancel or postpone the ride at no charge to you.
Cancellation policy:
If you cancel within
48 hours for any reason other than dangerous driving conditions,
full payment is required.
There is no charge for a cancellation due to dangerous driving conditions,
in that case any deposit would be applied to a new date. A deposit of $50
by cash, check, MasterCard or Visa card is required to hold a reservation.
Deposits are not refundable for any reason.
We reserve the right to cancel should we deem current conditions
are unsuitable for a sleigh or carriage ride and will notify you of such cancellation
within 12 hours of your scheduled reservation. If we cancel there is
no charge to you and your deposit will be applied to future service.
Acknowledgement of our cancellation policy is required to complete a reservation.
